Our first fishing Trip

The other day we were up late as usual but the weather was good, so off we headed in Gerry's boat to catch ourselves some fish. Well Michael and Bradley held their fishing rods with great anticipation while we trolled along the mangroves awaiting that elusive strike. Poor old Michaels thirst got the better of him and he gave the rod to Gary to hold and not 5 sec later, STRIKE!!

As you can see it was the only fish for the day but a lovely trevally that went down well that night baked whole on the BBQ.

Xmas Day

As usual everyone slept in and dad was first up, quickly follwed by mum to make sure dad didn't open all the presents. The kids were all excited to see what Santa had brought them. I was excited to see that he drank my Benedictine and ate Mels rum balls.

Santa was good to everyone this year with the boys getting a PS2 and Karla a Nitendo. Dad got some good books to read and Mum was spoilt once more with some lovely jewellry.

Lunch was spent across the road with Gary's work mates and a great afternoon was had by all.

Our home while in Weipa

With no major dramas we made it to Weipa, so did the furniture and all in one piece. Our house has a 4 bms a huge backyard for bear and a lovely entertainment area.

Schools out for Summer

With Michael graduating from Yr7 it was time to say goodbye to his friends at the grad party.

Not to be left out, Karla was awarded certificates for VHA's in French, Home Economics, PE and Music.

As for Bradley, well he was all smiles, no more school work for 6 whole weeks!!!!
